Prof. Dr. Gerard Govers, Vice-Rector of KU Leuven, visited the University of Tsukuba on April 20. Talks were held with President NAGATA Kyosuke, Vice President IKEDA Jun, and other key members, including graduates from KU Leuven. They expressed expectations for enhanced collaboration between the universities, given their similar strategies and research fields. The group also toured the accelerator facility at CRiES and discussed potential collaborations with faculty members from various departments. This visit strengthens the partnership, paving the way for future exchanges and collaborations with KU Leuven.
