Utrecht University advocates for multi-disciplinary science (pathways to sustainability). “As the world functions more complex, you have to regain that complexity in science and look beyond disciplines”, according to distinguished professors Henk Kummeling (right) and Maarten Hajer (left). Bringing scientists from different faculties into conversation and confronting disciplines, we try to make them aware that their research can have implications that go beyond their own field of research.
