Throughout the years of pioneering Japanese-style engineering education in Malaysia, MJIIT has made various collaborations with selected institutions and industries. The integration between the parties are integral for the betterment of the research society which in turn offers positive impact to the nation’s growth. One of the latest initiatives by MJIIT is the Malaysian University Consortium (MUC) which integrates 15 universities in Malaysia under one roof. MUC is a unique partnership that brings together Malaysian Public Universities, operating in a networked multidisciplinary environment. Through this co-operation, these higher education institutions are able to offer enhanced quality in expertise and future prospects to　benefit a larger group of students, personnel, and the surrounding society.
